Accumulation for gentle handling of automotive filters

Shuttleworth recently collaborated with an automotive parts manufacturer who sought out an accumulation system to transport their filters after they were manufactured and discharged from a curing oven. The filters being conveyed have a temperature as high as 200°F and the conveying surface needed to withstand these temperatures, as well as the ability to gently handle a bulk group of products at one time. Filters are first discharged from the curing oven in multiple rows on an extra wide conveyor containing special high-temperature rollers.
